Join a caring, family-owned hospital offering top-notch short and long-term care services.They seek an experienced Infection Control Nurse to lead their infection prevention efforts in a Long-Term Care Facility. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare safety, we want you on our team!Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage infection control programs in line with regulations.Track and monitor infections, keeping accurate records for each resident.Identify and manage outbreaks, reporting to leadership and health departments.Train staff on infection control best practices (handwashing, precautions, etc.).Oversee vaccination programs for residents and staff (flu, TB, Hepatitis B).Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with infection control policies.Manage infection risks related to IV therapy and wound care.Participate in Infection Control Committee meetings and policy updates.The Ideal Candidate:Active RN License (required).Infection Control Certification (CIC preferred).Strong understanding of infection control practices and regulations.You'll Receive:Competitive salary401(k) with matchHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceGenerous PTO and holidaysWE'RE INTERVIEWING NOW.
