The claims reimbursement experience is at the center of the action and we are currently seeking experienced Claims Adjusters to join the adventure!**RESPONSIBILITIES.**Adjudicate assigned claims in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the individual pet's policyReview medical records, lab results, invoices, and claims forms for complete and thorough assessmentProcess claims determinations to include assessment and payment for submitted claimsVerify claims coverage through in-depth knowledge of policy Terms & ConditionsConsult with treating veterinary practices regarding medical records evaluation and necessary documentationMaintain an average quality assurance score above department minimumsComplete assigned tasks within compliance deadlinesMaintain an average productivity rate above department minimumsProvide feedback on process opportunities to further strengthen SOPsREQUIRED SKILLS.Comprehensive understanding of disease processes and veterinary medical terminologyAbility to read and interpret veterinary medical records and invoicesAbility to identify chronic and acute medical conditionsAdapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and operate multiple computer systems simultaneouslyWork independently in a remote capacity, while also fostering teamwork and collaborating with othersSuperior communication skills for collaboration with team members and support from managersDemonstrated problem solving skills and ability to work through complex medical/vet-related scenarios affecting a pet's diagnosis and/or treatment planQUALIFICATIONS.Minimum of five years experience as a veterinary technicianBachelor's degree in veterinary science OR CVT or equivalent preferredProperty and Casualty Adjuster license in good standing preferredComplete and pass state adjuster licensingBe reliable with good attendanceAble to work a minimum of 42 hours per week, with occasional weekends and extra hours as neededWORK-FROM-HOME SET-UP.Subscription to reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum of 100 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload speed)A quiet, dedicated place to work in your home that is not easily disrupted by background noises or distractionsOffice workspace must be large enough to accommodate two 19" dual monitors, laptop, mouse, keyboard, and headsetAbility to set up and connect (with instructions and remote IT team assistance) equipment that is shipped to your home**-ABOUT FETCH-**Fetch is a high-growth, Warburg-Pincus portfolio company.
