Katz Melinger PLLC is seeking a skilled and passionate
Employment Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our
growing team.
Katz Melinger is a leading New York City employment law firm
dedicated to advocating for workers' rights and delivering results
for clients across a range of industries. Our team has an extensive
track record of successful settlements in employment
discrimination, wage and hour, retaliation, and workplace
harassment cases in New York, New Jersey, and Federal Courts.

Employment Law Attorney will work directly with Ken, the firm
owner, and Nicole, our Employment Law partner, as well as our
talented team of paralegals and support staff. We offer a hybrid
work arrangement with 1 - 3 days a week in our Grand Central
office.
Compensation and Benefits:
--- Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000, commensurate
with experience and expertise.
--- Comprehensive health insurance (up to $700 per month).
--- 401(k) with up to 4% employer match.
--- 15 days PTO plus federal and firm holidays.
--- Annual CLE allowance, bar dues coverage, and professional
development budget.

Responsibilities:
--- Represent clients in employment law matters, including wage and
hour disputes, workplace discrimination, harassment, wrongful
termination, and retaliation claims.
--- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings,
discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, hearings, and
trial.
--- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs,
and settlement agreements.
--- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case
strategies.
--- Participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Qualifications:
--- J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to NY or NJ
Bar (Federal Court admission is a plus).
--- 3+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably in
plaintiff-side representation.
--- Outstanding written and oral advocacy skills.
--- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment.
--- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving
skills.
