Job Role: Oracle Pl/SQL Developer with Production Support
Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension)
Location: Jersey City, NJ

Key Job Functions

Top 3 Skills:
Building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures.
Expert in building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures.
Support complex SQL data retrieval and data management techniques as well as integration across systems.
Test driven development ( JUnit)
Experience in Continuous Integration environment ( like Jenkins and Bitbucket pipeline)
Actual work experience developing and integrating Web services (SOAP/REST)
Experience in Linux/Unix platforms
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Familiar with Agile Methodologies
Expert in Excel VBA, VB and C#.NET
Knowledge of building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures.
Support complex SQL data retrieval and data management techniques.
Test driven development ( JUnit)
Experience in Continuous Integration environment ( like Jenkins and Bitbucket pipeline)
Actual work experience developing and integrating Web services (SOAP/REST)
Experience in Linux/Unix platforms
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Familiar with Agile Methodologies

Overview of the work being done:
-What are the daily responsibilities and/or priorities? - Oracle PL/SQL developer working on sprint items for applications; GERA, iQ & RDR as well as L3 escalations
-Does the role involve client interactions? - Yes
-Any example projects and expected end-result? - SQL statement to retrieve a grid of data for Commodity Coverage within iQ Database

10+ years of professional experience in Oracle Development.
--- Extensive SQL and PL/SQL experience : Strong knowledge in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions using PL/SQL.
--- Experience designing schemas, tables, data analysis, relationships, and table partitions.
Characteristics of the top performer?
--- Performance tuning: Optimizing database query performance using indexing, query optimization and other best practices.
--- Experience with Java : Understanding of Java and SOAP/REST services, should be able to troubleshoot Production issues
--- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
. Familiarity working with Agile workflow and processes.

Pay Range*: $50 /HR - $58/HR.
