Job Description:
A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern New York
is now searching for an experienced Nurse Supervisor Radiation
Oncology to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and
today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of
medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center
provides a number of patient care services including behavioral
health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services,
emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and
pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.
Reporting to the Director and Manager Oncology Services, the Nurse
Supervisor assists in managing the daily operations of the
Radiation Oncology department. Responsibilities include providing
direct patient care, training and educating new staff members,
collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the
department has proper resources, and maintains compliance with
regulatory standards.
What's Needed to Succeed:
Registered Nurse RN license
Oncology Certified Nurse OCN
Prior working experience in Radiation Oncology setting
