The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)/NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking an outstanding radiologist to lead our Division of Thoracic Imaging.

This is a unique opportunity to build a growing division in a department known for clinical, research, and educational excellence. The Chief of Thoracic Imaging will oversee imaging throughout the CUIMC/NYP system and provide vision and leadership for our robust research and education activities, which include research in AI and technological advances in imaging and clinical care. Our busy thoracic imaging program serves hospital and outpatient locations throughout Manhattan and Westchester, including underserved areas in northern Manhattan. Our program includes an emphasis in oncological imaging, interstitial lung disease, and cystic fibrosis, a lung cancer screening program, and the third-largest lung transplant program in the nation. Our team is integrated into the wider network of specialists in pulmonary medicine, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery and oncology, and participates in multiple multidisciplinary clinical conferences and tumor boards on a weekly basis. We seek candidates with expertise in thoracic imaging, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage an outstanding research team. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated commitment to training and education are highly valued. The division chief reports directly to the Chair of Radiology. This position requires a M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology and must have completed fellowship training. Must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Salary range is $400,000 - $550,000.
