Job Description:

Seeking BE/BC Nephrologist to join team in Bronx, NY as faculty provider. Responsibilities will include providing inpatient and outpatient care for a large and diverse population of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease and teaching medical students, residents, and Nephrology Fellows. Candidates with experience in research and/or strong interest in participating in research are preferred. The Division of Nephrology has a distinguished history of innovation in research, clinical care, and education, and is one of the nations leading academic Nephrology divisions. The Division faculty are a vibrant, supportive, and rapidly growing group, currently consisting of 30 full-time members with diverse expertise in clinical nephrology, medical education, and basic and clinical research. Our faculty also provide care for a large population of patients with end stage kidney disease, and we are home to one of the region s largest and most successful kidney transplant programs. Divisional faculty are actively engaged in a diverse array of funded research programs spanning basic and translational research into the pathogenesis of kidney diseases, epidemiology, and clinical trials to improve the care of patients with kidney disease.

• Conversational fluency in Spanish is preferred. Rank and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and generous benefits packages are offered to all faculty.
• Total guaranteed compensation for faculty positions range from $200,000-250,000, with the opportunity for significantly higher income with additional roles and generous productivity incentives.
