Location: New York, NY / Onsite 3 days / 2 days remote

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to lead
the analysis, configuration, monitoring, and automation of the
Nexthink platform. In this critical role, the engineer will help
define and implement the organization's roadmap of levering device
analytics to redefine, automate and modernize the end user
computing device lifecycle.
This Engineer will incorporate device analytics into engineering
strategies that align with the team's 2025/2026 roadmap: proactive
monitoring to identify trends, minimize risks, and proactively
address potential challenges, and enabling a targeted PC refresh
program based on device health.
This role is based in New York City (3 days/week in office
commitment).
Key Skill Set: Nexthink Certification
Responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain Nexthink
dashboards, investigations, campaigns, and services focused on
device performance and user experience.
Leverage Nexthink's digital experience data to develop a device
health scoring system and identify candidates for PC refresh based
on performance, age, failure trends, and user sentiment.
Drive proactive maintenance initiatives (e.g., software updates,
storage cleanup, patching) based on predictive analytics.
Lead the analysis, configuration, and administration of the
Nexthink platform.
Implement automation strategies to streamline operations and
proactively address potential issues.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Local
IT/Operations, Cyber Security, and software governance.
Provide technical guidance on best practices for monitoring and
improving enterprise-wide digital productivity.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that drive
efficiency and innovation.
Explore new ways to leverage Nexthink for data-driven
decision-making and proactive solutions.
Provide hands-on training and support to operations and engineering
staff as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or
equivalent), or equivalent experience
6+ years in desktop / end user systems engineering and
administration, preferably in a large enterprise setting (30,000+
endpoints).
Comfortable with IT security and compliance best practices.
Nexthink Platform Experience - _Proficiency in configuring,
monitoring, and automating Nexthink for digital employee experience
(DEX) optimization. (Microsoft Analytics, Riverbed Aternity,
ControlUp One experience will also be considered)
Scripting & Automation - Strong experience with Ansible, Bash, NQL,
PowerShell, Python, or other automation tools to enhance workflows
and system efficiency.
IT Infrastructure & Endpoint Management - _Deep understanding of
system performance monitoring, security compliance, and cloud
technologies (Azure, AWS).
Incident Prevention & Troubleshooting - _Ability to analyze data,
identify patterns, and implement preventive solutions to minimize
disruptions.
Network & Security Awareness - Knowledge of enterprise security
policies, endpoint protection, and IT compliance standards.
Extensive familiarity with Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Jamf, Active
Directory, and M365.
Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and
external vendors as necessary.
Has the interpersonal skills necessary to interact and work
productively with the Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity,
Application, and Leadership teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

skills
