Location: High Bridge, NJ

Position Summary:
The Simulation Engineer will work in our Engineering department,
use computer simulation software to design/test/improve our
manufacture processes of custom forgings, pipes, fittings & heat
treatment processes.

Responsibilities:
Works with a design team to design tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
as required by the production process.
Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary
and detailed drawings of the fixtures, dies, and products.
Use the advanced simulation software (DEFORM 3D) to predict and
visualize the manufacture design.
Builds process routers and prototypes of the product to tests the
design.
Studies the test data, makes comparisons with the computer
simulation and modifies the computer simulation.
Help other engineers as needed to develop manufacture routers for
the production process.
Develops control systems and monitors production.
Assist sales and marketing in preparing documentations for projects
biding and quoting.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
Experience in: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Office, and Excel.
Industrial or finite-element modeling experience with DEFORM,
QFORM, FORGE or other simulation software are highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
2 (two) years of related experience preferred.
Experience with DEFORM or other process simulation software.
