Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children in a preschool setting.

About the Job
Chesterbrook Academy is a multi-location school group offering private education to preschool students with a balance of learning and play. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher and ensuring the overall well-being and development of our preschool-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  
• Promote social and emotional development in students
  
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
  
• Communicate with parents or guardians
  
• Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
    
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards
    
  • Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
    
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • A minimum of one of the following:
    
    • 
      
    • High School Diploma or GED AND at least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
      
    • High School Diploma or GED AND 15 relevant credits (or CDA) with at least 1 year of experience with children
      
    • High School Diploma or GED AND at least two years of experience with children
